The Grevin Museum of Wax figures
The Grevin Museum of Wax figures is a set of modern present and ancient past.
Namely, at the end of the 19th century, the famous journalist and founder of the daily newspaper “Le Gaulois”, Artur Meyer, had a genius idea. He wanted to give readers 3D images of famous people on the front pages of their newspapers, which at that time was inconceivable.
In order to bring his brilliant idea to life, he called his friend Alfred Grevin for the help. Alfred was a caricaturist, sculptor and costume designer. Of course, he agreed to help his friend. He went so deep into the core of the idea that at the end, the project was carrying his name.
When Grevin opened the door to the public in 1882, from the start, Museum was an incredibly great success.

On the museums 3 floors, there are as many as 7 different worlds overlapping.

In the Grevin you can play the piano with Mozart, create crazy pictures with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Jackie Chen, beautiful Marilyn Monroe, famous goalkeepers and athletes, scientists, including one of the largest minds – Albert Einstein.

Before all these magical experiences you will be welcomed by Grevin’s friendly staff who will give you instructions on how to behave in halls with wax figures. There is also a cafe in the lobby, so if you are tired of walking before or after visiting the museum take a peek into a varied menu and refresh yourself.
