The Prague Airport “Vaclav Havel” is a very modern international airport.
This airport has two runways, four heliports, and two commercial terminal terminals.
There is an old and new part of the airport. In the old part, there is a terminal for a private trip by plane, while in the new part there are terminals 1 and 2.
All international flights are arriving at this airport and it is one of the busiest airports in the Czech Republic. It is the headquarter of airlines: “Czech Airlines”, “SmartWings” and “Travel Services Airlines”.
Many international airlines operating at the Prague airport: “Aeroflot”, “Air France”, “Lufthansa”, etc.
Prague no other civil airport, but there are three small airports and several landing sites for helicopters.
Prague airport is also a base for low-cost carriers, such as Wizz Air.
Location of the Airport:
The Prague airport is only 17km away from the city center and by public transport, you will need a little less than 1h to the city center, where everything is within your hand reach.
If you don’t like a public transport, there is also a possibility of private transfer from airport to the hotel.
