You will not find a lot of green areas inside of Prague city borders. The fact is that parks are located mostly on the city edges and out of the city. But, don’t be discouraged to visit green zones and parks of Prague. You will probably miss a day which could always stay in your memory. All parks are beautiful, decorated to perfection, offering peace, relaxation and allowing visitors to “charge the batteries” for further adventures around Prague.
In most parks of Prague, you don’t have to pay the entrance fee. Relaxation from a crowded and noisy city is absolutely free.

The Prague ZOO
The Prague Zoo garden is considered one of the largest and most beautiful zoos in the world. It is home to almost 5,000 animals, including 133 endangered species.
Petrin Hill
Petrin Hill is a favorite Prague’s residents picnic destination, and also unavoidable picnic destination for all Prague visitors. On the top of the Petrin hill, there is a Petrin Tower, a modern replica of the Eiffel tower.
Troja Botanical Garden
If you are a fairytale lover, after the first step into this garden, you will fell the magical experience of some other, parallel world.
The garden is located inside of Troja Castle complex, as like a big zoo which you truly need to visit.
Wallenstein Garden
In spring, this park is really beautiful, and it looks like it is covered with pink clouds. You cannot really be sure if what you see is real, or it is just your imagination. The beautiful baroque Wallenstein palace is located inside of the park.
Letna Park
The Letna park is located on the hill which arises on the left bank of Vltava river, upstream from the Lesser Town.
The most visible feature of this hill is a large metronome.
If you love cycling, roller skating and skateboarding, then this park is an ideal place for you.
Kampa Island
Under the Charles Bridge lies little Kampa island.
From this island spreads a beautiful view of the National Theater on one side and the Vltava on the other side.
